Slim Light Blocker For Xreal One
Print Profile(3)

Description
I miss the light blocker that came with previous versions of Xreal glasses On a very sunny day, whether I'm on a bus or relaxing in a hammock, even with the glasses' brightness at maximum and the electronic lens darkening, it's not enough to prevent me from seeing through the lenses, such as trees swaying or people walking past This significantly hinders immersion, especially when the scenes I'm seeing in the glasses are very bright I couldn't find any light blocker model that was slim, easy to remove, and small to store, so I made this remix based on the detachable frame found here on Maker World I only added a protrusion in the central part to allow the blockers to fit The idea isn't to have them glued directly to the original lenses, as those already function well This means any slight gap at the sides doesn't negatively impact performance I also made a remix of a model I love to mitigate reflections when using the Xreal One Although it works wonderfully well to block light and reflections coming from below (for example, the reflection of the shirt pattern I'm wearing), when I wanted to remove the blockers to regain my downward vision, it was necessary to remove the Eye as well So I did something simple that solved the problem I was facing: dividing the blocker into two parts It still attaches perfectly to the Xreal One, but now removing the blockers has become an easier task that doesn't involve disconnecting the Eye every time I do it
Update from 05/30/2026, remix of the lower light blocker divided into two versions: snap-on and magnetic
- Lower Light Blocker remix V1:
Divided into two parts for easy removal
- Lower Light Blocker remix V2 (Magnetic)
Dual magnetic piece that fits between the Xreal Eye and the nose pads Using two 6x3 magnets, it's possible to attach and remove the lower light blockers in seconds without needing to connect and disconnect the Xreal Eye
