Bambu RFID Filament Tag
Print Profile(4)

Description
Stop throwing away your Bambu Lab RFID chips! This clever two-color tag allows you to recycle RFID chips from your empty filament spools
- Eco-friendly: Give RFID chips a second life (for DIY projects with RFID readers, or for use with third-party spools)
- Practical: Includes a keychain ring hole for hanging it anywhere (a hole is provided on the front face to customize the tag with the name of the filament used or other information)
Boost Me (for free)
A small Boost? 🚀 If you like this model and find it useful, a small Boost ticket helps me enormously to finance my new machine project (Objective X2D!). Thank you very much for your support! An idea for a token? 💬 I started with the PLA token, but please tell me in the comments what other types of filament you would like to have (PETG, ABS, TPU, Matte, Silk, wood...). I will model the most requested tokens!
Printing:
Step 1: Cut the RFID chip from your empty spool and apply a piece of double-sided tape to the back (highly recommended)

Step 2: A pause is programmed in the middle of the print. Gently place the chip in the center of the tag (the double-sided tape will prevent it from moving with printhead movements)

Step 3: Resume printing to seal the chip inside
Step 4: Print the small indicator tokens (like the PLA token), then glue them onto the tag with strong glue or double-sided tape
