Description

I bought a fluid transfer pump from eBay to help me with car repairs. The original pump came with clamps to connect to the car's battery. I found the long, coiled cable annoying because it kept getting in the way, and sometimes it would get caught on parts inside the engine. Also, not all cars have their batteries in the engine bay, so the cable wouldn’t always reach or I had to find another battery to use.

To fix this, I used a simple adapter for Milwaukee M12 batteries. I added a curved base plate that matches the shape of the pump and drilled a couple of holes to screw the battery directly onto the pump’s housing. Now, it’s much easier to move around, and I don’t have to rely on the car’s battery or where it is. I also don’t have to worry about the clamps coming loose from the battery terminals. Plus, using Milwaukee batteries makes the whole setup lighter. The only problem is that it sometimes tips over because of the way the battery is attached.

The last picture shows the type of pump I used if you want to look for a similar one.
