Why I Designed This
The hinges on the original Switch dock side door broke, as it limits cable movement and can make the dock awkward to reposition, especially when using thicker HDMI or power cables i designed this one. I wanted a solution that provided more cable clearance while also opening up the side of the dock to improve airflow and reduce heat buildup that i have beed experiencing lately.
The result is a lightweight, functional replacement panel that improves usability without permanently modifying the dock.
