Description

Custom Kerbal Space Program Controller (KSP/KSA Compatible)

I have always wanted to make a kerbal controller since the first one came out a decade ago. Now I have finally gotten around to it to try and get my youngest kid into the game as well! I have printed every part several times and fought my code into submission and am ready to share everything.
Total Cost $35-$45 + Material

Any Boosts are appreciated as they fund my future projects and hobbies!

This was primarily made to be simple and use as few parts as possible while getting the main buttons. Ive targeted mine at my younger kid and trying to get them into the game. Clear labels on the buttons and the minimum buttons needed to experience the game quickly. With keyboard and mouse controls the game was a bit to much for them. The parts list is not extensive or expensive by any means. I have also included a guide with pictures and descriptions on how to make your own. Included in the guide are internal pictures of the wiring. The Pi code is included as .txt files as Makerworld does not like .py files types. This is all DIY and open sources! Feel free to edit the files, remix, change the code, whatever you like as long as its shared under the same license.

Updated added a second code file replacing throttle buttons with time warp.

Total cost is between $30-40 depending on where you buy from. The joystick makes up the bulk of the cost.

Parts List: (This does assume that you have a soldering iron and solder)

  1. Pico Pi Clone https://a.co/d/06OjUdbN
  2. Keyboard Switches https://a.co/d/03tgNgLY
  3. 2 axis Joystick https://a.co/d/03eDGuqO
  4. Jumper Wires https://a.co/d/047TyRO4

  6. M2 Screws https://a.co/d/02P1LM9C

Comments and critiques are welcome, though as I said this project can get a bit overwhelming when things go wrong. I had help with the code so I probably wont be able to walk you through an changes.
