Having a cat flap but no cat, this caused unnecessary insulation loss.

To limit the passage of wind and noise, I first cut a large piece of styrofoam to insulate the inside, and I put a foam seal inside the cover to limit the passage of insects.

The internal outline of the cat flap is 19.75cm high and 22.5cm wide. Make sure to calculate your height and adjust accordingly so as not to print a cover that is too large or too small.

Mine is a bit too big, so I made wedges to hold everything in place (simple precaution, it holds even without them) and to plug the hole because I had wasps trying to build a nest in the screw insertion holes.

My terrace is covered and north-facing, so PLA seemed good to me. I recommend changing the material if your cat flap is exposed to sun and rain.
