<p>I messed around in the slicer and found these settings worked well for reducing print time while still keeping the model working the same, so I figured I&#39;d share them. Uses 0.28 mm layers, 2 walls (with Arachne wall generator), 10% support cubic infill, and a few other print optimizations to speed things up while keeping the original design. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>All thanks to the original creator!</p>

<p>This profile is engineered specifically for highly detailed, dynamic models with extreme overhangs, such as this leaning motorcycle and rider. The settings prioritize clean support removal, excellent surface quality on curved features, and ensuring the delicate contact points remain firmly anchored to the build plate.</p><p><strong>Key Optimization Changes:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Wall Generator: Arachne</strong> (Changed from Classic) The Arachne engine dynamically adjusts line width during slicing. This is crucial for capturing the tiny, intricate details of the model smoothly, ensuring the thin wheel spokes, handlebars, and the creases in the rider&#39;s suit are printed without gaps or missing perimeters.</li><li><strong>Support Top Z Distance: 0.26 mm</strong> (Changed from 0.2 mm) Increasing the vertical gap between the support interface and the model prevents the dense support structures from fusing to the print. Because this extreme leaning pose requires extensive support underneath the bike and the rider&#39;s knee, this larger gap allows the supports to snap off cleanly without scarring the visible bottom surfaces.</li><li><strong>Avoid Crossing Wall: Enabled</strong> (Changed from Disabled) Constraining nozzle travel moves to stay within the boundaries of the printed object minimizes open-air travel. This eliminates stringing between the rider&#39;s arms, the handlebars, and the motorcycle body, drastically reducing post-processing time and keeping the fine details sharp.</li><li><strong>Initial Layer Speed: Reduced to 35 mm/s</strong> (Changed from 50 mm/s) Slowing down the extrusion on the first layer gives the filament ample time to anchor securely to the build plate. The leaning pose means the model only has small, isolated contact patches (like the tires and knee), making a slow, reliable initial adhesion critical to prevent the entire print from failing and detaching.</li></ul>
