OCTO Road Bike Chain Waxing Cage

Design Introduction

This is a chain cage for road bike waxing, featuring chain slots, a wax drainage groove, and a tray for storing the chain cage.

I printed the chain cage using PA6-CF, which is heat resistant up to 209 degrees Celsius. There are two versions: one with a wax drainage groove and one without.

Printing&Usage Instructions

It is recommended to print with materials resistant to temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. If using PA6-CF, be careful when removing supports.

After placing the chain, loop one or two chain links around one of the chain cage's longitudinal beams, then immerse it in hot wax and rotate it in one direction (do not rotate back and forth or too forcefully, as this may cause the chain to detach).
