Inspired by the iconic Banksy Balloon Girl artwork, this model can be displayed in two different ways:
🎈 As a floating shelf decoration hanging from a shelf, picture frame, mirror, cabinet, or other edge.
🖼️ As a framed wall art piece using the included optional frame.
The model consists of four separate print plates:
• Balloon Girl with integrated rope
• Optional frame
• Balloon cluster for wall mounting
• Balloon cluster for shelf/frame mounting
Assembly is simple:
- Add a small drop of glue into the hole at the bottom of the balloon cluster.
- Carefully insert the rope.
- Allow the glue to cure.
The connection is surprisingly strong once assembled.
The Balloon Girl should be removed carefully from the build plate, as the rope is intentionally slender to preserve the floating appearance.
The wall-mounted balloon cluster and the frame include mounting holes on the back.
For shelf, frame, mirror, or cabinet installations, double-sided tape or a small amount of glue works well.
The included frame is optional. Personally, I enjoy both versions: the framed wall art and the floating shelf decoration.
An AMS multi-color version is planned and will be added in a future update.
