TriDot is a 3-bladed returning boomerang designed for stable, predictable flights and easy catching. Its balanced symmetrical geometry provides excellent rotational stability, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced throwers.

The aerodynamic shape generates smooth lift during flight, allowing TriDot to follow a wide circular path and return toward the thrower when used correctly.

Recommended Print Settings

• Material: PLA (recommended)
• Layer Height: 0.20 mm
• Walls: 3–4
• Infill: 15–25%
• Supports: Not required

Flying Tips

For best results:

1. Throw in an open area free of obstacles.
2. Hold the boomerang nearly vertical (about 10–20° from vertical).
3. Use a firm wrist snap to generate spin.
4. Avoid strong winds.
5. Practice with moderate throwing power before increasing distance.

Safety Notice

Always use in a large open field away from people, animals, vehicles, buildings, and power lines. Never attempt to catch the boomerang near your face. Use responsibly.

TriDot is inspired by traditional returning boomerang principles while utilizing a modern four-blade configuration. The additional blade improves rotational stability and provides a smooth, forgiving flight characteristic, making it an enjoyable outdoor flying toy and a great demonstration of aerodynamic principles.
