Description
This is a 3D printed dovetail joint test model for connecting two printed parts without screws or glue.
It includes the two final connector versions from the video:
- Tapered dovetail version - rounded edges, and a small taper for smoother assembly.
- Angled split dovetail version - a hidden dovetail with a longer internal engagement path to bring back more contact area and strength.
𧊠These parts are meant as test pieces, so you can print them, feel the fit, and adapt the design idea to your own projects.
â ď¸ The clearance values are based on my printer and filament, so your printed fit may feel different, but the design logic is the same.
