The Spear of Cassius, appearing paired with the Spear of Longinus, is also known as the "Regicide Spear". Its primary function is to pierce AT Fields and sealed targets: in the climax of *Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance*, Unit-06 used it to impale the awakened Unit-01, temporarily halting the Third Impact. In *Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time*, it further, in conjunction with the Spear of Longinus, propelled the final Instrumentality and the reset of imagination
