I know using a mechanical watch movement would be perfect, but obviously, even if I have one, not everyone does. So I made many attempts, using thumbtacks, sewing needles, capped thumbtacks, and steel balls. The results were not ideal. Later, while helping my child with homework, I finally discovered what I wanted. This is the tip of a ballpoint pen (rollerball pen)

I also improved the launcher, making a snap-on version (unstable rotation), fine threads (too tight to launch successfully), large gears that don't reach high speeds, and small gears that break easily. After repeated testing many times, I finally achieved this version, which has good effects on strength, lubrication (oiling), power transmission, and launch stability. So we need a rollerball or ballpoint pen tip (it must have a ball), use pliers to pull it out. Install it onto the Gyro Fidget Spinner

Note:

When launching, try to lower the launch height to prevent damaging the pen tip

Before using the launcher, apply lubricating oil (cooking oil also works); this will significantly improve lubrication

Pull out the winding spring as fast as you can, let the timer begin!
