I have my own toolbox of course and pricing up ToolGrid was insane! but i desperately needed to tidy up my box and save space
Yes there are plenty of other ToolGrid style boards out there but at the time of making these the print times were high and/or felt weak and/or were hassle to design things to fit to them and they all seemed to have rather long print times at 4h+… it was 30 minutes work to knock up a board and play with settings for speed… so here we are!
I print these boards with Sunlu PETG HS matt black using the textured side and flip them, they can be cut to size or adjusted to size in the Bambu software to make edges and corner pieces.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: i run my PETG with an 75c heat plate, be sure to use what works for you :)
The boards click/slot together with the little pins on the edge, NOTE using PETG if your filament is wet they still lock together but will require a sharp tap with a hammer when lined up! if its dry, they fit perfectly.
i have tested these boards with multiple PETG and all work well.
I have NOT tested any other material such as PLA/ABS/ASA etc because PETG was cheapest for me at 4kg for £30 refills on amazon.

Screw size required: i have been using 4mm x 10mm cheap plastic forming screws off amazon and 4mm x 8mm plastic forming screws (Socket holders only), the ToolGrid genuine screws also are compatible being 4.55x10mm just slightly tighter.
a chap at my work uses 4x10 wood screws and they're also compatible.
Please note, Most of my attachments for this board will require a maximum 8mm head size, a guy at work does force 8.5mm in and seems to hold well… just be sure to find the right screws on amazon
i will be uploading all my designs to fit onto this board (May or may not work with other designers board/Genuine ToolGrid boards, i have not tested this)
If there are any requests, send me some measurements and i will knock up a test model for you within 48h.
any reviews would be great, please inform me of any improvements i could make. having printed 300+ of these boards for my workplace and myself they work great but i still would like to reduce print time.
