Description

This ball mount fits on Brodit's Clip on Backplate for non invasive phone mounts, no gluing or screwing. Ball fits most phone brackets, if not the onshape link for parametric adjustments as you please. I printed it in ASA on its side with 6 walls, 20% infill, honeycomb, beam interlocking, and I did use tree supports and brim 10mm, the extra thickness is intentional to prevent the phone bracket from sagging on the ball and keeps it all in place. The tolerances are super tight, it may feel the clips might snap off when installing but its just under the threshold and clips right on. Sits dead tight. The outer profile removes the stress from the clips that really only hold it onto the plate.

Make sure to have an exhaust or well ventilated room when printing ASA!

We are living an in a fantastic time an amazing lifestyle. All this stuff wasn't possible a few decades ago!

Thanks to Bambu Lab, Google Gemini, Onshape and Ali Express. Having so much fun with 3D printing!
