iomimetic Fish & Shrimp Hideout | Minimal Supports
Print Profile(1)

Description
his Fish & Shrimp Hideout features a smooth, biomimetic organic shape, specifically designed for planted aquariums and micro-biotope setups.
In this design, I deliberately stripped away redundant decorative elements like "fake windows" or "decorative feet" often found in traditional aquarium decor, returning to a pure, minimalist aesthetic. This subtractive design approach not only makes the overall form more natural (perfect for attaching moss or Anubias) but also highly optimizes the FDM 3D printing experience. The large, flat base adheres firmly to the build plate for a perfect first layer, and the overall structure is carefully calculated to require only minimal supports.
