Description

I used my son's second extra pump to create this perpetual rain maker for the garden. Just something I felt like trying out. Turned out to be about 14" high. If you'd like to see it in operation, click on the URLs below. For the actual pump I used…there is a picture of the packaging.

Quick assembly instructions (follow the cutaway Fusion views):

  1. Put the pump in place and use the wedge to keep it from wiggling around. I had to shave off the top lip at the pump output. Feed the cord out of the notch in the back of the base.
  2. Add the joiner insert to the top of the base.
  3. Attach the mid section and the rippled dripper bucket.
  4. Add the dripper insert to the top section.
  5. Attach the top section to the mid section.
  6. Feed the pipe all the way down into the pump.
  7. Fill with water and plug 'er in.

I used Shoe Goo to attach and seal most of the joints.
