Description
With this parametric measuring spoon, a freely selectable volume in milliliters can be generated.
Not only standard sizes like 5 ml or 15 ml are possible, but also any intermediate values, for example:
- 3.7 ml
- 12.5 ml
- 752 ml
This makes the model suitable wherever a specific quantity is regularly and as accurately as possible required.
For example, for:
- Cooking and baking
- Spices, salt, sugar, or flour
- Supplements like protein powder or creatine
- Medicine and syrup
- Detergents and cleaning agents
- Epoxy resin, filler, and mixing ratios
- Powders, liquids, and granules
The measuring spoon can be used for both dry and liquid substances.
Usage
The set volume corresponds to the filling volume up to the top edge of the spoon.
There are two ways to use it:
- Using the included print files with several standard sizes
- Creating a custom size using the parametric model creator
A normal standard profile is sufficient for printing.
The dimensions of the spoon are mathematically calculated to match the entered target volume. Practically any value can be entered.
Currently, the upper limit is 1000 ml, as larger volumes are rarely practical in most cases. However, this limit can be extended if needed.
For use with food, I recommend the new PLA Pure from Bambulab, which has been certified for food contact in the EU.
