Description
I found my old Mi Band 5 with a dead battery and a broken wristband.
Since it wasn't worth restoring, I decided to tear it down and give it a new life by installing a battery salvaged from a disposable vape.
A custom case was designed around the new battery, so only basic soldering was required—connecting the battery to the board and wiring a USB Type-C port to the charging pads.
