REARRANGE MODELS ON PLATE TO HOWEVER YOU DESIRE!
They are grouped by version to make it easier to know which to print.
A simplified model of SLS rocket that just took Artemis II to the moon.
It's not 100% accurate but is enough for learning.
Some creative liberties were taken to fit the magnets for the given scale.
This model is primarily broken down by the launch stages, but some parts are broken further down to reduce the amount of supports necessary or help for users without multi-material capabilities.
Assembly:
The final assembled model height is 30cm.
The Launch Abort System (LAS) is broken into 2 parts to make printing easier and can be connected with a cut piece of 1.75mm filament.
The Core Stage is broken up into 2 parts as well and has holes to be connected with 4 pieces of 1.75mm filament.
This model uses 6mm x 2mm (diameter x height) round magnets. [24 to 28 of them. Note: Double or triple up magnets as needed in the Core Stage and Solid Rocket Boosters]
Ensure magnets are the correct orientation before pressing/gluing them in.
