Description

Creator 5 Modular Top Hat

This is my own original Creator 5 Modular Top Hat design, created from scratch.

The modular design allows you to customize and expand the setup to suit your needs. Additional panels and accessories can easily be added in the future.

If you find this model useful, likes, downloads, and boosts are greatly appreciated. Your support helps me continue designing and sharing new models with the community!

Required Hardware

  • 4 mm plexiglass (acrylic sheet)
    • 2x 250 x 391mm Front+Back
    • 1x 250 x 361mm Sidepanel
    • 1x 250 x 340mm door
    • 1x 361 x 391mm Top plate
  • Door mounting Option 1:
    • 1 × M6 threaded rod (390 mm length)
    • 2 × M6 nuts
    • 4 × M6 washers
  • Door mounting Option 2:
    • 2x M6x8x8 heatpress nut
    • 2x M6x20 bolt
    • 2x M6 Washer
  • Added magnets to the bottom of the door parts, so the door keeps shut
    • 4x 6x2 magnets glued in place, just make sure the attraction of the magnets goes the right ways! :)

Assembly

Risers are labeled bottom because the bottom and top are different!

All held together by wooden dowels 8mm (is what i used)

The M6 threaded rod is used as the hinge pin and only passes through the printed hinge parts. It does not pass through the plexiglass.

When assembling the hinge, do not overtighten the nuts. The hinge should move freely while remaining securely mounted.

Features

  • Modular design
  • Easy assembly
  • Uses commonly available hardware
  • Expandable for future modifications and accessories
