Master Sword in Bloom – Korok Forest Pedestal ⚔️🌸

This is my take on the Master Sword resting in Korok Forest after the Great Calamity. Zelda left the sword there under the protection of the Great Deku Tree, trusting that Link would eventually return to reclaim it.

I imagined it sitting untouched for the next hundred years, with vines and flowers inspired by the Silent Princess slowly growing around the blade as the forest began to reclaim its resting place.

It is not meant to recreate one exact scene from the game. It is more of a “what might it have looked like?” version of the Master Sword moments before the hero finally returned for it.

🔹 Features

✔ Detailed Master Sword-inspired design
✔ Flowing vines and sculpted flowers surrounding the blade
✔ Raised Hylian crest on the front of the pedestal
✔ Stable tiered base designed for shelf or desk display
✔ Looks great printed in a single color or fully painted
✔ Suitable for both FDM and resin printing
✔ Excellent display piece for gaming rooms and collections

📌 Perfect For

✅ Zelda fans and collectors
✅ Desk, shelf, or gaming setup decoration
✅ Fantasy-themed display collections
✅ Painting and customization projects
✅ Gifts for gamers and Nintendo fans

🔧 Printing Notes

The smaller flowers, vines, and cross guard contain fine details, so a lower layer height is recommended for the cleanest result.

Recommended settings:

✓ Use a 0.08 mm layer height for quality
✓ Slow down outer wall speeds to improve the surface finish
✓ Supports may be required around the flowers, vines, and cross guard depending on your printer and orientation
✓ Add a brim if you notice any lifting around the base
✓ Matte PLA works especially well for highlighting the sculpted details

🧼 Before Printing

Please clean your build plate before starting the print. A dirty or oily plate can cause lifting, warping, or failed adhesion, especially around the large flat base.

Recommended preparation:

✓ Wash the plate with dish soap and warm water, then dry it completely
✓ Avoid touching the print surface after cleaning
✓ Use glue stick or liquid glue if your printer normally has adhesion issues
✓ Add a brim if the corners of the pedestal begin lifting
✓ Watch the first layer to ensure the entire base is sticking evenly

For textured PEI plates, cleaning the surface is usually enough, but glue can help depending on your filament and printer setup.

If you run into any problems with the print, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to help! If you print, paint, or customize the model, I would genuinely love to see how it turns out. ⚔️🌿
