Description
Discover this compact and robust case, equipped with a quick-to-open-and-close sliding lid and no risk of accidental opening in your bag.
Its special feature? A flexible TPU interior that prevents pencils, pens, or accessories from rattling during transport. Ideal for backpacks and quieter than a simple rigid case.
The exterior structure (here in PLA) ensures solidity and durability, while the flexible TPU inner layer provides comfort and noise reduction.
A practical set, entirely printable at home.
Print Settings
Dimensions:
- External volume: 203 x 90 x 60 mm
- Usable internal volume: 193.8 x 76.8 x 38.4 mm
Materials:
- Structure: PLA (or any other suitable material depending on exposure conditions)
- Interior: TPU (here TPU 95A)
Print settings:
- Infill: 15–20 %
- Outer layers: 2 to 3 walls
- Orientation: flat print on the build plate
- Supports: required for all 3 parts
- Layer height: 0.2 mm recommended (variable layer heights can be used if your printer allows, for better visual rendering)
- Speed: reduced for the TPU part (20–40 mm/s depending on material and machine)
Assembly:
- The TPU interior simply press-fits into the PLA structure.
- The lid slides into the designated rails and clips into place at the end of its travel.
