A parametric, 3D-printable rectangular flat-duct adapter. It transitions between two duct sizes with a smooth airflow-friendly shape and optional wall-flush / right-aligned positioning.
Features
- Presets: 110×55 / 150×70 / 220×90 mm (bottom & top) or custom
- Wall-flush back side option (auto offset)
- Optional compact right-aligned outlet
- Adjustable corner radius for improved airflow
- Adjustable wall thickness, spigot length, overall height (OpenSCAD)
Print Settings (recommended)
- Material: PLA (easy) / PETG (recommended) / ABS/ASA (hotter environments)
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm (0.6 mm optional)
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Walls: 3–4 perimeters
- Infill: 10–20% gyroid
- Supports: usually none; if needed use “from build plate” only
Assembly
- Typically push-fit into the duct
- For airtight sealing: foam tape + aluminum HVAC tape or silicone
- Optional mechanical fixing depending on your setup
Notes / Safety
- Measure your real duct inner dimensions first (manufacturer tolerances vary).
- Use PETG/ABS/ASA for warm exhaust air.
- Not certified for safety-critical installations—use at your own risk.
