Personalised Playdough Word Roller - Custom Word Roller

Roll out readable words in playdough! This fully customisable roller stamps a scatter of words around the barrel, plus a symbol on each end. Type in your own words, pick your fonts, and generate a roller made just for you — perfect for early literacy, sight-word practice, sensory play, and classroom activities.

Sample print profiles include lowercase and uppercase letters (on separate rollers), in both engraved and raised style. 

Customise everything in the MakerWorld Maker:

• Your own words: enter any comma-separated list (e.g. sat, map, pin, fin). Add or repeat words to fill the barrel as much as you like. Try adding in all the letters of your child's name, with each letter separated by a comma. Your child can then stamp out each letter!
• Reads correctly when rolled: text is oriented and mirrored so that rolling the roller up and down stamps clean, readable, right-way-around words into the dough.
• Engraved or raised text: choose words pressed into the dough or standing out from it.
• Scatter pattern: words are placed at random around the barrel, never overlapping and never upside down. Don't like the layout? Just change the seed for a fresh arrangement.
• Two end stamps: independent text, font, size and depth for the top and bottom faces. Use letters, numbers, or emoji (e.g. ⭕ and ✔). Great for marking "right/wrong", initials, or little pictures.
• Pick your fonts: choose any font from the MakerWorld library for the barrel and for each end, including emoji fonts.
• Size to suit: adjust diameter, length, text size, engrave depth, and a comfortable chamfered edge for little hands.
• Fit helper: if you enter more words than will fit, a note appears beside the roller telling you how many didn't fit and suggesting you increase the size or change the seed.

Printing notes:

• Print standing upright on its end — no supports needed.
• A brim is recommended for bed adhesion since it's tall and narrow.
