ARRMA Felony Chassis Skid Plate / Steering Protection
Print Profile(1)

Description
ARRMA Felony - Front Skid Plate & Steering Protection
Optimize the durability of your ARRMA Felony! During tough speed runs and wild bashing sessions, the chassis has to take a lot of abuse. This front skid plate, specially designed for the ARRMA Felony, offers the perfect balance of maximum protection and unrestricted performance.
🛡️ Key Features
- Enhanced Steering Protection: Effectively shields the sensitive steering mechanism at the front from stone chips, dirt, curbs, and hard impacts.
- Full Steering Freedom: The profile is precisely adapted to the chassis and steering geometry. Steering movement is not hindered, blocked, or restricted in any way.
- Robust Design: Designed to absorb impact energy from bumps, prevent scratches, and protect the expensive original chassis.
- Plug & Play Installation: The component uses the existing mounting points on the vehicle. No permanent modifications to the car are necessary.
⚙️ Recommended Print Settings
For the component to withstand the mechanical stresses during driving, I recommend the following parameters for the slicer:
- Material: PETG, ASA or ABS. (Note: Standard PLA is often too brittle for hard bashing and breaks easily. Tougher material is the better choice here.)
- Perimeters: 4 to 6 for maximum edge stability and abrasion resistance.
- Infill: 50% - 100%. A gyroid or honeycomb pattern ensures optimal force distribution.
- Supports: If the model lies flat on the print bed, no support is usually needed.
🔧 Installation Note
Installation is very simple: The protector is attached with 4x M3x8 on both sides to the underside of the front section.
Have fun printing and bashing! If you like the design or it saved your chassis, I would be happy about a rating, a "Make", and pictures of your Felony!
