Wave XLR Halo Faceplate

A minimalist faceplate for the Elgato Wave XLR designed to give the original model a cleaner, more modern appearance.

This project started as an attempt to create a more cohesive flow around the LED indicators rather than simply making individual cutouts for each LED. After multiple design iterations and prototypes, the project evolved into a halo-style design inspired by the aesthetic of newer Wave XLR models.

The final design replaces the individual LED cutouts with a continuous halo, creating a cleaner appearance while remaining easier to print and more forgiving of alignment tolerances. The Print Profile includes the ability to change the colour of the halo for even more personalisation.

Recommended material: Matte PLA

Recommended layer height: 0.20 mm

Compatibility

Designed and tested on the original Elgato Wave XLR.
