- Dual text lines: Add a large main title for the plant type (like ‘Strawberry’) and a smaller subtext line for the specific variety (like ‘Elsanta’).
- Smart auto-width: Leave auto_width enabled, and the algorithm automatically calculates the exact length of your word and scales the sign perfectly to fit! No more guessing dimensions.
- Pointed ground stake: Customize the exact length and width of the stake so it anchors firmly into potting soil or raised garden beds without tipping over.
- Raised lettering & borders: The text and the protective outer border are embossed, creating a premium look that is incredibly easy to read and perfect for multi-color printing.

🧠 Behind the design (For makers & moderators)
To ensure a flawless mesh and perfect printability, this generator processes complex 2D vector fonts and dynamically extrudes them into a 100% manifold solid.
The auto_width feature uses a clever mathematical approximation. It counts the number of characters in both text strings and multiplies them by the font size, spacing, and a standard glyph-width ratio. It then dynamically bounds the card width, adding a mathematically calculated safety padding to ensure the text never clips through the border. The stake itself is generated using a 2D polygon mapped precisely to the center of the rounded sign, completely avoiding any overlapping geometry errors in your slicer.
🖨️ Print settings:
- Material: PETG or ASA is highly recommended for outdoor use! PLA is perfectly fine for indoor houseplants, but it will warp under a hot summer sun.
- Layer height: 0.20mm works beautifully.
- Supports: STRICTLY NONE. The model prints completely flat on its back.
- Ironing: Turn on top surface ironing in your slicer. It gives the flat background of the sign an incredibly smooth, injection-molded finish!
