Ryuk (Death Note)

Ryuk is a bored and eccentric Shinigami (a god of death) from a desolate and grey dimension. To break the monotony of his world, he deliberately drops his "Death Note" (Death Note) onto Earth, initiating the events of the series.

• Physical Appearance: He is an imposing, tall, and slender creature with grotesque and humanoid features. He has pale skin with blue-grey hues, large, protruding yellow eyes with red pupils, and a mouth perpetually sewn into an unsettling and sharp smile. His hair is black, short, and spiked upwards.
• Clothing: He wears a tight-fitting dark outfit, resembling torn leather or gothic bandages, embellished with rings, bracelets, and a conspicuous belt decorated with skulls and metal chains. On his back, he has enormous black feathered wings, similar to those of a crow, which he can retract at will.
• Personality and Vices: Ryuk is not intrinsically evil, but acts purely as a neutral observer driven by his own entertainment. He has a deep and complete addiction to the apples of the human world, which for him are the equivalent of a drug or alcohol (and whose lack causes him genuine withdrawal symptoms).

Description of Images (3D Model)

The images show the three-dimensional model of an ultra-detailed collectible statue, designed for 3D printing, captured from four different angles (front, back, left profile, and right profile) to demonstrate the continuity and coherence of the sculpture without any structural modifications.

1. Front View

Ryuk is depicted in a crouching and dynamic pose. His right leg is bent tightly to his chest, while his left leg is extended outwards, creating a strong sense of asymmetry. With his left hand, he lifts a shiny red apple, bringing it close to his face as if about to bite it, while his right arm is stretched downwards, with long, clawed fingers brushing the base. His wings are spread wide to the sides, framing the character.

2. Rear View

From the rear perspective, the incredible anatomical and material detail of the sculpture emerges. Attention is drawn to the feathered texture of the large dark-grey wings, where every single feather is individually sculpted. In the center of his back, the complex harness of straps and metal buckles is visible. Details of the back of the belt are also noticeable, with the metal chain and ornamental skull falling to his side.

3. Side Views (Left and Right Profiles)

The profiles show the marked protrusion of the spine and the conspicuously hunched posture, typical of the character. On one side (character's left), the line of the arm bringing the apple to the mouth and the sharp angle of the bent knee are appreciated; on the other side (character's right), the tension of the right arm stretched backward and the slender line of the extended left leg are highlighted.

The Statue's Base

Ryuk is seated atop a rich pile of human bones, skulls, and rib cages haphazardly accumulated. This pyramid of skeletons perfectly encapsulates the macabre atmosphere of the Shinigami world: the bones serve to create a scene, lending dramatic flair, structural stability to the figure, and a strong gothic impact to the entire composition from any angle it is viewed.
