Description
Illidan Stormrage – The Betrayer
For ten thousand years he was imprisoned, banished from his own home, only to ultimately make the ultimate sacrifice for Azeroth. As a huge World of Warcraft fan, this project was an absolute must for me on the print bed and painting table.
The model captures the Lord of Outland in his full demonic form. It was a great challenge to capture the pure fel energy in the glowing tattoos and the cracks of the base. The massive, tattered wings and, of course, the legendary Warglaives of Azzinoth offer a fantastic canvas for Object Source Lighting and detailed blending. The shattered chains on the base immediately give off that nostalgic Black Temple vibe.
A great project for anyone with deep roots in Warcraft lore who wants to bring a piece of Outland into their display cabinet. Have fun printing and painting – I'm extremely curious to see your interpretations of fel magic!
