LUDOTiles – Build, Stack & Snap | Kids toy
Print Profile(3)

Description
LudoTiles - Building panels for children (indestructible, non-ingestible, and rounded)
LudoTiles is a system of interconnected panels designed to stimulate creativity through various shapes and challenge children's ingenuity
These panels are mainly divided into 3 basic types (I will create more specific ones later):
- Side panels: These are the simplest to stack because they are all the same
- Base panels: The panels that will be used for the bottom part
Roof panels: The top panels
*I strongly recommend using bright and different colors for each type (for example: yellow for sides, blue for base, red for roof)
INSTRUCTIONS
First and foremost print the 3 pieces for tolerance tests which you can find among the print profiles for each material you intend to use, test both by joining the pieces using the same plane and by interlocking at an angle and evaluate if it is suitable for your child (the test pieces are not suitable for children because they are small)
- The project is designed to allow printing with any material, which is why I have provided an f3d file from which to extract the desired pieces with the necessary tolerance .Using the following lists you can choose the relevant pieces once on Bambu Lab (which are marked with numbers in the image circled in blue for correct identification):

- 1x1: No.1 (4 pcs) Color A; No.4 (1 pc) Color B; No.5 (1 pc) Color C
- 1x2: No.1 (6 pcs) Color A; No.2 (1 pc) Color B; No.3 (1 pc) Color C; No.4 (1 pc) Color B; No.5 (1 pc) Color C
- 2x2: No.1 (8 pcs) Color A; No.2 (4 pcs) Color B; No.3 (4 pcs) Color C
- 2x3: No.1 (10 pcs) Color A; No.2 (5 pcs) Color B; No.3 (5 pcs) Color C; No.6 (2 pcs) 1 Color B and one Color C
- 3x3: No.1 (12 pcs) Color A; No.2 (8 pcs) Color B; No.3 (8 pcs) Color C; No.4 (1 pc) Color B; No.5 (1 pc) Color B
*Generally, No.1 is Color A, No.2 and 4 are Color B, No.3 and 5 are Color C, while No.6 varies according to needs
Increasing the height
I indicate measurements like "1x1" and not "1x1x1" because the third number is implicitly "1" but it can still be modified to increase the height, so for example "1x1x2", in this case, the No.1 panels will need to be multiplied by the third number (for example, for "1x1x2" you will need to do No.1 (4pcs) x 2, for a total of 8pcs)
I recommend joining the panels that are not No.1 first to form the base and roof

Then attach the side panels (No.1) to one of the two parts

And finally, interlock the remaining previously interlocked panels on top by applying pressure to the outer edges

To disassemble, I recommend rotating the panels by pivoting on the interlocking parts themselves, this works with both single panels and multiple panels

Print settings:
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Walls: 2
- Infill: 15%
- Print time: approximately 20 min per panel (for the 1x1x1 cube approximately 2h)
*Each piece weighs approximately 15 g, so 10 pcs will be approximately 150 g and 100 pcs will be approximately 1.5 kg
* Read the ATTENTION!!! section below carefully
The side panels are always the same, so they can be used for multiple shapes, while the Base panels and Roof panels must be printed carefully because they will need to have "particular" shapes to match the form of the side panels:
- Cube: As seen from the print profile, it includes 4 Side panels, 1 Base, and 1 Roof.
- 2x2: Includes 8 Side panels, 4 Base, and 4 Roof.
The pieces have been made in such a way that they are not ingestible whole, are rounded at the corners, and at the same time are indestructible by bare hand, making them child-proof for even the strongest child…and also gym-dad-proof
Let me know your impressions and ideas! If you want additional pieces, ask, and I will try to design them for you and your children, for example, I was already thinking of introducing sets for Car tracks , House and farm and much more!
Boost Me (for free)
Thanks to a boost, I would be further encouraged to fulfill your requests or if you just want to thank me for the general idea...thank you very much
ATTENTION!!!
Make sure you have performed filament calibrations! Otherwise, you might have problems with interlocking tolerances
Soon I will make a file available for customizing tolerances
