Boosts enable me to keep going while still sharing all my models free 😎 So thanks for considering! 🎉🥳

Caution: I am almost certain that this will also fit the A2L, see below

I wanted a clean way to have four spools on top of my A1 printer and the top mount wasn't for me.

So I designed my own!

  • The AMS Air fits a much wider range of spools
  • The AMS Air will not drop any spools on your bed during printing
  • The center two spools have RFID readers
  • The AMS Air fits within the footprint of the A1
  • The AMS Air can also be used as an external spool holder for TPU

That said, you do need to disassemble an AMS Lite, but you can always reverse this process. The AMS Air only uses screws from the AMS Lite, the only parts you need extra are four PTFE tubes and pneumatic couplings.

For disassembly of the AMS Lite, see the Bambu Wiki:

https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/ams/maintenance/ams-lite-body

For assembly see the provided PDF

To replace the center spools you need to temporarily lift off the outer spool but you do not have to retract it fully!

For the A2L: as far as I know the top tube and the clearance between it and the toolhead is the same as on the A1, so it SHOULD fit. But proceed at your own risk or contact me beforehand so I can check with your measurements. Once confirmed I will remove these warnings.
