Ultimate Fridge Magnet Generator

Description
I started this because I wanted a simple personalised name piece that could work on a fridge, locker, whiteboard, toolbox, bedroom door, or school cubby without being locked into one boring rectangle.
This generator is built around the same flexible name-tag engine, with proper magnet mounting built in: round pockets in the underside sized for standard disc magnets (8 x 2 mm by default, fully adjustable). Print it, glue the magnets in, and it is ready for the fridge. The backing plate automatically thickens just enough to leave a solid wall above each pocket, and the number of pockets scales with the width of the name — or set the count yourself.
You can choose the name, font, size, icon, text style, backing style, magnet size and count, and colours. It can make a clean rectangle, an organic outline around the text, or an outlined name sitting on a full backing plate. An optional hanging hole is there too if you would rather hook it than stick it.
How to use it
Click Customize to open the generator.
From there, you can:
- Enter a custom name or short label
- Choose a font and font style
- Add an icon before, after, or on both sides of the text
- Pick a size from Small through Very Large
- Choose organic, organic plus plate, or rectangle backing
- Set the magnet diameter and thickness to match the discs you have, or let the pocket count adjust automatically
- Add an optional hanging hole if you want to hook it instead
- Pick colours for the backing, text, plate, and icon
Once you are happy with the preview, generate the model, print it, and glue a disc magnet into each pocket on the back. A drop of super glue or epoxy holds them permanently.
