Description

This is a quick mechanical remix of the awesome design by FirstDegreeBumbleBee on Thingiverse.

The original mount is perfect, but if you have a wide phone or a thick protective case (like a Spigen, QuadLock, or any rugged armor), it can be really tight or just won't fit.

To fix this, I modified the slider.stl file and shortened its inner stem/shaft. This small tweak allows the sliding mechanism to open wider, giving you those extra millimeters needed to fit a bulky phone case easily without losing any grip strength.

No Screws Needed & Easy Mounting!

The best part about this specific design is that you don't need any extra hardware or screws to assemble it or mount it to your bike. The entire mechanism works beautifully on its own, and the clamp secures tightly to your handlebar using just 4 standard zip-ties (Serflex). It's super lightweight, clean, and takes two minutes to install.

 Print Info & Settings:

  • Material: Print this in PETG, ASA, or ABS. Seriously, avoid PLA here—it will melt or warp the first time you leave your bike out in the sun, and you don't want your phone hitting the asphalt.
  • Infill: Go for 25% to 40% (Gyroid is best) to make sure the handlebar clamp and the main body are solid enough to handle vibrations and bumps.
  • Walls: 4
  • Supports: No supports needed
