Description
A sculpture from the Helldivers 2 game, now a unique PS5 controller stand for your desk!
Filedivers unpacked the game and extracted the sculpture's original files, making it a 100% authentic Super Earth artifact
For added practicality, a controller stand part was added to the broken base, and the game's logo was imprinted on it. Since the sculpture has a low polygon count, the lines of the controller base were also processed in a low-poly style after modeling. Printing with dark PLA Marble should achieve a closer in-game effect
On MakerWorld, there hasn't been such an elegant Helldiver model before (or perhaps I haven't found it). To perfectly support the cape, many additional supports were added. Please use my optimized print profile when printing, and when removing supports, gently hold the cape to prevent damage
The base volume is quite large; printing with default infill would use nearly 400g of filament. There's really no great need for this, as it only supports the weight of one controller. Therefore, the number of outer walls was increased, and lightning infill was used to ensure the top surface could be printed, sacrificing only a little strength for a significant reduction in actual material consumption
Thanks to Helldivers 2 for the enjoyment it brings; it's the great community atmosphere that inspired me to bring this in-game sculpture to reality. Just a small contribution~
