WARNING USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
I take no responsibility for any damage you cause to your unit. This will 9/10 void your warranty.
With that out the way.
I was not seeing anyone doing much with the cleaning cartridge.
Replacements dont cost a ton also they can be refilled.
However this meant watching and checking to see if the cartridge was full. If it gets full it triggers the lock out. You only get about 8 deep cleans before its full.
I wanted an external setup, much like other uv printers, so I can visually see my levels of fluids and easily refill and dispose of waste.
Here is my design.
Design to fit and be open so you have access to the ports on the printer.
(Power down the printer for safety as maintenance can happen at anytime).
Install the magnet first, this is very important!!
If you install the chip and not the magnet it will show as full and lock out that chip.
Again I am not at fault if yours get triggered as full and locks out the chip. This works for me.
Next install the chip using a small amount of elmers glue will hold it in place. This print is a tight fit which further holds the chip in place even if the printer vibrates.
Finally install the line and bottles. Make sure to fill them correctly. Top left is Waste, bottom left is cleaner, bottom right is moisturizer.
Once your chip expires you will need to pull it out and install a new one.
Materials needed :
UV printer lines 3mm ID 5mm OD cut to fit.
UV ink tanks. (make sure its rated to hold uv resin, some plastic will soften and be eaten by the ink)
8x3mm magnet.
The ink tray in the photo file is currently not included. I will add it in later.
I have been using this setup for over a month without problems. Happy printing and feel free to boost this if it helped you out.
