Description
✨ Minimalist Filament Wall Mount / Wall-Mounted Spool Holder ✨
Are you looking for a way to store your filament spools cleanly, neatly, and absolutely space-savingly? This robust wall mount utilizes the unused space on your walls or inside cabinets (as seen in the picture filament wall mount.jpg)!
The design is extremely robust and securely and reliably holds even heavy 1kg spools.
📌 The Highlights / Features:
- Maximum Space Saving: Creates valuable space on the desk or in the printer corner. Perfect for mounting in cabinets or on shelves.
- Secure Hold: The clever cap/lip at the front ensures that the spool can never slide forward when unrolling.
- Rock-Solid Mounting: The generously sized base plate is secured with 4 screws and optimally distributes the weight onto the back wall.
⚙️ Recommended Print Settings / Recommended Settings:
- orientation: Place the model with the flat base plate facing down on the print bed.
- walls: At least 3–4 wall lines for maximum stability of the support arm!
- Infill (Infill): 20% - 25% (Gyroid pattern recommended for high load capacity).
- Material: PLA (for normal cabinets) or PETG (if mounted in a warmer enclosure).
- Support structures (Support): Not strictly necessary, depending on how well your printer handles overhangs. A small support under the front lip ensures a perfect finish.
🛠️ Required hardware kit (BOM):
- 4x Suitable screws (e.g., small wood screws for cabinet walls or universal screws with anchors for solid walls).
