I bought a similar toy for my cat before. It has a universal joint rocker arm inside that rotates, allowing feathers to randomly extend from the panel to tease the cat.

It's obviously unwise to let cats chew on feathers from unknown sources, so I didn't install the feathers. My cat is also very destructive, and it wasn't long before she chewed through the top of the original rocker arm. So I designed a more robust plug pin, printed in ABS, removed the feather-holding part, and changed the top to an extended, thick-walled ABS cylinder.

Printing effect:

After removing the original pin shaft, just press the pin back in. It's normal for the pin to feel a bit tight; if it's too tight, you can add a cylindrical negative part to ream the hole as appropriate.

It is recommended to print with materials like PETG, ABS, etc. It's best to use my arrangement for optimal interlayer strength:

After testing, all functions are normal. If you're into 3D printing and happen to have the same cat toy, you can try replacing this part. Hope your cat has fun.
