Description
Speedloader for Hege Uberti 1866 Sporting Rifle.
The tubes hold 5 rounds of .22LR.
The cap is easy to remove, so you can hold the rifle in a safe direction while loading and quickly load the cartridges with the other hand.
Only for front loaders where the rod must be completely pulled out.
I intentionally made the box wider for easier removal. You might want to add a piece of foam for transport security.
The holder is simply glued into the box with a good adhesive.
There are already speedloaders for lever-action rifles, but with these, the ammunition is "released" by twisting. If you're not careful and twist once too much... 10 instead of the allowed 5 cartridges (DSB competitions) are loaded, and you could get into trouble with the race management.
Alternatively to the printed tubes, you can also use acrylic glass tubes (file for the matching caps is included here).
