🔶 Model Introduction

The Zhiyuan, a core main battleship of the Beiyang Fleet and a national hero battleship that fought valiantly in the First Sino-Japanese War, is a classic ship with great sentiment and commemorative significance in the hearts of the Chinese people. This time, based on original precision model created with Fusion360, we have created a large-scale 60cm (1:125 accurate scale) Zhiyuan 3D printed model. The entire process references historical ship data and blueprints to adhere as closely as possible to the actual hull structure, lines, contours, and weapon layout. The model abandons inferior one-piece rough modeling techniques, adopting fully disassembled parts + full color separation for refined modeling, and adds an exclusive deck wood grain printing configuration, balancing assembly fun, detailed texture, and collection value. Due to my limited modeling skills, the model cannot achieve 100% full detail restoration. Some details may be missing or have room for optimization. I kindly ask fellow model enthusiasts for your understanding and tolerance for any areas not fully restored.

• Accurate Scale Restoration: The finished product has a total length of 60cm, strictly adhering to the standard 1:125 scale, striving to restore the original posture and overall dimensions of the Zhiyuan. • Professional Full Color Separation: Precisely adjusted according to the actual color scheme of the Zhiyuan battleship, using jade white, black, grey, warm yellow, red, cocoa brown for six major exclusive colors in layered printing, accurately corresponding to the hull's black, bottom's red, equipment's grey, decorative jade white, warm yellow for fine details, main deck cocoa brown (exclusive color for wood grain deck) and other sections. The color matching adheres to historical facts and offers a premium texture, eliminating the need for manual post-painting, bidding farewell to tedious painting processes. The complete finished product effect can be achieved immediately after printing and assembly.
• New Deck Wood Grain Texture Configuration: Exclusive optimized deck printing parameters, with built-in high-definition solid wood texture details. You can freely choose between a plain deck or wood grain deck style according to personal preference, customize the exclusive finished product effect, and enjoy higher detail playability.
• High-Precision Modeling Details: Relying on professional modeling in Fusion360 and referencing extensive historical data to replicate hull textures, portholes, scuppers, cable brackets, onboard accessories, and other details, every effort has been made to restore the historical appearance of the original Zhiyuan. Due to limitations in modeling techniques and available data, it's impossible to cover every detail, please understand.
• Compatible with Bambu Lab Printing Equipment: Perfectly compatible with the full range of Bambu Lab P1P/P1S/X1C/A1 FDM printers. Pre-optimized slicing paths and support structures effectively reduce print failure rates, with excellent layer line control, allowing even beginners to successfully print finished products.

📏 Model Parameters

This Zhiyuan 3D printed model is made using a standard accurate 1:125 scale. The finished product has an overall length of 60cm. The large hull offers a full and impressive display effect, and an outstanding visual effect as an ornament. The model was entirely created using professional independent modeling in Fusion360 and outputs universal STL format files, which can be directly adapted to all Bambu Lab FDM printers, compatible with Bambu Lab slicing software, eliminating the need for complex format conversions, allowing even ordinary 3D printing beginners to easily get started with printing. The overall design features fully disassembled parts and full color separation, with fixed, historically restored turrets, and an optional deck wood grain texture configuration, balancing aesthetic appeal and assembly quality, making it very suitable for First Sino-Japanese War history enthusiasts, military model collectors, and beginner players to collect and build.

📦 Version Selection (Must Read)

This model exclusively offers two versions for free choice. Everyone can choose according to their hands-on ability and preferences to meet the needs of different players. The disassembled, fully color-separated version comes with pre-set jade white, black, grey, warm yellow, red, cocoa brown exclusive ship color schemes, with precise color separation by section, eliminating the need for manual painting. It can be formed simply by assembly, making it beginner-friendly, time-saving, and labor-saving. Smooth deck and wood-textured deck can be chosen by yourself.

🖨️ Printing Suggestions

• It is recommended to use PLA Basic dedicated filament for production. All slicing parameters and structural adaptations for this model have been debugged and optimized based on PLA Basic material. The material has good stability, prints with a uniform texture, is not prone to deformation or aging during long-term display, and is suitable for printing the model's delicate structures.
• The uniform standard print layer height is set to 0.12mm. This layer height is the optimal printing parameter for the model, balancing print speed and the precision of hull and deck details. Directly using this parameter for printing will yield high-quality finished products, without the need for manual adjustment.
• The model comes with standard deck, wood grain textured deck dual printing configurations. There are no mandatory usage requirements; you can freely switch between them according to personal aesthetics. Both configurations are perfectly adapted to a 0.12mm layer height and PLA Basic filament.
• The overall design is for fine disassembled parts to be glued together, without snap-fit structures. Most parts require assembly with glue. The parts have high fitment accuracy and excellent assembly fault tolerance. The finished product can be completed with patient assembly, making it easy for beginners to get started.

I independently modeled this entire project using Fusion360 to recreate the Beiyang Zhiyuan ship using 3D printing technology, paying tribute to the valiant spirit of the First Sino-Japanese War battleships. This 60cm large-scale 1:125 battleship model features full color separation, fully disassembled parts, and an optional wood grain deck design, striving to restore the classic appearance and structural characteristics of the Zhiyuan.
