Description

Ember Mug / Cup Replacement Bottom Ring

Fed up with the rubber ring on the bottom of your Ember falling off, stretching out, or losing its stick? You're not alone - it's one of the most common issues Ember owners run into. The original rings are notorious for going loose over time, and once they've lost their grip, there's not much holding them in place.

This is a 3D printed replacement ring designed to give your Ember a new lease on life.

Compatible with:

  • Ember Mug 10 oz (295 ml)
  • Ember Mug 14 oz (414 ml)
  • Ember Cup 6 oz (178 ml)
  • Ember Cup 14 oz (414 ml)

Print in TPU for the best result (but it'll work - likely with reduced function - with other filaments) - it replicates the flex and feel of the original. If you print it on a textured plate, you'll get a lovely non-slip finish on the bottom as a bonus, which is a step up from the stock ring.

Installation is dead simple:

  1. Clean the base of your mug
  2. Put a couple of drops of superglue on the base
  3. Align the tabs and press the ring into place
  4. Give it a few minutes to set

That's it - your Ember is back in business.
