Description

Customizable Tilted Desktop Organizer

This is a fully parametric desktop organizer designed for maximum flexibility and clean aesthetics. Thanks to the integrated OpenSCAD script, you can adjust every dimension to fit your specific tools, desk space, or storage needs.

Key Features:

  • Fully Parametric: Adjust base dimensions, bin sizes, and row layout using the built-in Customizer.
  • Modular Design: Features an invisible snap-joint system. Note: These clips are designed primarily for initial positioning and alignment of the modules. For a permanent, heavy-duty setup, they provide a reliable fit, especially when paired with a 2mm wall thickness.
  • AMS Support: Designed with multi-color printing in mind.
  • Flexible Layout: Add a tray to the front or sides, or attach a back cover to keep everything tidy.

How to use:

  1. For Custom Dimensions: Click the "Customize" button to open the MakerLab Customizer. Adjust the sliders to match your needs and export your custom STL files.
  2. Ready-to-Print: I have included a pre-configured .3mf project file which features the organizer divided into 8 distinct plates. This is optimized for Bambu Lab printers (P1S/X1C) with AMS, featuring pre-arranged parts, custom orientations for strength, and optimized print settings.
  3. Assembly: If you use multiple modules, the integrated snap-joint system will ensure they align perfectly.

Printing Recommendations:

  • Layer Height: 0.20mm (Standard).
  • Walls: 4 wall loops for overall rigidity and better thread/snap-fit durability.
  • Infill: 15% (Gyroid recommended) for the base and bins.
  • Clips/Connectors: For the snap joints/clips, use 100% infill to ensure maximum strength and durability of the snap mechanism.
  • Orientation: Most bin components are designed to be printed "on their back" to ensure a clean finish and eliminate the need for supports. Refer to my provided .3mf file for the best orientation.
