This **riser for the QIDI X-MAX3** was designed to slightly raise the top area of the printer, thereby **improving air circulation in the build chamber**. Especially with filaments where excessive heat build-up in the enclosed print chamber can be problematic, the riser ensures better heat dissipation upwards.
The design combines a stable frame with **honeycomb ventilation** and side ventilation slots. This keeps the part stable, saves material, and still allows good airflow. The honeycomb structure is not only functional but also visually matches the technical look of the QIDI X-MAX3 very well.
The riser sits on top of the printer and raises the cover in a controlled manner. The ventilation openings only begin above the lower insertion area, so that the area disappearing into the printer remains stable and the visible ventilation is not blocked.
