KOENIC Air Hose Flange

Here I have designed an exhaust hose flange that is specifically adapted to the exhaust hose of the mobile air conditioner KOENIC KAC 12022. This allows the hose to be conveniently and securely attached via a bayonet fitting. The exhaust hose has an outer diameter of approximately 150 mm (see image 6)

Optionally, a protective grille can be mounted in the flange. For mounting, at least M4x8 screws and suitable nuts are required. The protective grille, for example, prevents our cats from taking an unwanted stroll on the roof

In my setup, I used a wooden panel into which I cut a 160mm circle with a jigsaw. The flange was then attached to the wooden panel with 3.5×12 mm wood screws

Since our windows have roller shutters with guide rails, I can simply insert the wooden panel into the window frame and rest the roller shutter on it. This creates a stable and quickly mountable solution

For potentially better insulation, it is recommended to also use a window seal, for example, the KOENIC KWS 122
