This custom-designed Bypass Cap is the ultimate time-saving solution for your Rain Bird Uni-Spray sprinkler system. Whether you are adjusting your lawn layout, fixing a zone, or simply want to shut off a specific sprinkler permanently or temporarily, this plug makes it effortless.

  • 10-Second Installation: Simply unscrew the top collar, pull out the internal pop-up riser assembly, and screw this cap directly onto the existing body thread.

TIP

For a 100% Leak-Free Seal: We highly recommend placing a standard 35mm diameter rubber gasket (or O-ring) inside the cap before screwing it down. This ensures a perfect water-tight seal and eliminates even the minor leaks under high system pressure.

How to Use:

  1. Turn off the water system.
  2. Unscrew the outer collar of your Rain Bird Uni-Spray sprinkler.
  3. Remove the internal pop-up riser/spring assembly.
  4. Insert a 35mm rubber gasket inside the 3D-printed cap.
  5. Screw this custom cap tightly onto the sprinkler body.
  6. Done! Simple, fast, and clean.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Material: PETG or ASA/ABS (Highly recommended for outdoor durability, UV resistance, and water pressure).
  • Infill: 30% - 50% (for structural strength under water pressure).
  • Wall Loops: 4 - 5 (crucial for ensuring a strong, leak-free thread).
  • Resolution: 0.08mm - 0.16mm (lower layer heights help print cleaner, smoother threads).
  • Support: Not required!
