This is a 3D Printed clamp-on bracket for 30mm square tube/steel pipe racks
I currently printed two, which clip directly onto the rack to support subwoofers, small speakers, equipment boxes, or other light to medium weight items

The bracket features a clip-on structure + diagonal reinforcing rib design, requiring no drilling or screws, and can be used by simply hanging it on a 30mm square tube. The overall structure is quite sturdy, making it suitable for use with desk racks, shelving units, metal racks, audio racks, and similar setups

Model Dimensions

ItemDimension
Overall Length180 mm
Width30 mm
Thickness/Height40 mm
Compatible TubingApprox 30 mm thick/side length square tube
Recommended Quantity for Use2 pieces used as a set

Suitable for clipping onto 30mm square tubes. If your square tube has paint, rubber coating, or dimensional errors, it is recommended to first confirm the actual thickness, and if necessary, fine-tune the scaling in slicing software

Main Uses

Can be used for:

Use CaseDescription
Subwoofer bracketTwo brackets used as a set, clipped onto the rack to support a subwoofer
Small speaker bracketSuitable for desktop speakers, satellite speakers, etc
Equipment trayCan hold routers, power supply boxes, small amplifiers, etc
Rack extension support armAdds a temporary support position to metal racks, square tube racks

Design Features

  • Compatible with 30mm square tubes: Suitable for common metal racks, desk racks, and shelving unit square tubes
  • Drill-free installation: Can be used by simply clipping onto the square tube
  • Thickened structure: Overall 40mm thickness for enhanced stability
  • Long support arm design: 180mm length, suitable for supporting subwoofers or deeper equipment
  • Diagonal reinforcing ribs: Enhance support stability and reduce deformation under stress
  • More stable when used in pairs: Recommended one on each side for more even weight distribution

Printing Recommendations

SettingRecommended Value
MaterialPETG / ABS / ASA preferred, PLA also usable for light indoor loads
nozzle0.4 mm
Layer height0.2 mm
Wall thickness/number of walls4–6 walls
Top/bottom layers5 layers or more
Infill density30%–50%
Infill patternGyroid / Cubic / Grid
SupportDepends on print orientation
Recommended print quantity2 pieces

If used for vibrating equipment like subwoofers, it is recommended to use PETG, ABS, or ASA. Long-term weight bearing with PLA is not advised, especially in high-temperature environments or direct sunlight during summer

Installation Method

  1. Print two brackets
  2. Clip the brackets onto the 30mm square tube rack
  3. Adjust the distance between the two brackets so the subwoofer's bottom receives even pressure
  4. Place the subwoofer or equipment on top
  5. It is recommended to place a non-slip pad, rubber pad, or sponge pad on top of the brackets to reduce vibration and sliding

Usage Notes

  • Before use, please confirm if the square tube size is close to 30mm. If there is looseness during installation, a suitable layer of sponge pad can be applied
  • Subwoofers vibrate, so adding non-slip pads is recommended
  • It is recommended to use two or more brackets together; a single bracket is not recommended for sole weight bearing
  • Weight-bearing capacity depends on printing material, print orientation, infill density, and layer adhesion strength
  • It is recommended to perform a weight-bearing test before using heavy objects
  • Not recommended for human weight bearing, hoisting, or high-risk scenarios
