19-inch 1U Rack Mount Blank
Print Profile(1)

Description
Standard 19" 1U blank panel, split into two halves along the width so it fits on consumer-size beds (designed and tested on a Bambu P2S — no bed over ~250mm needed).
The halves join with a dovetail slide, sized with a deliberate tolerance for a snug press-fit.
That tolerance means the joint can feel a bit loose depending on your printer's dimensional accuracy and filament shrinkage. If it feels flimsy after assembly, there are two M3 through-holes at the joint — add 2× M3x12 bolts and 2× M3 nuts to lock it down.
Included files: the 3MF file — 3mm and 5mm wall thickness. Each part has a linked modifier mesh already placed and aligned in the model. To change the infill pattern, select the modifier in the object tree and change its pattern setting — you don't need to touch the base body or re-position anything.
Recommended patterns for the modifier: gyroid or cubic. Both are fully self-connected patterns, so you get uniform strength regardless of print orientation — avoid line/rectilinear here since it won't self-connect across the modifier boundary cleanly.
Assembly:
- Print both halves (see orientation notes below).
- Slide the dovetail together.
- (Optional) Insert 2× M3 nuts into the recessed pockets, secure with 2× M3x12 bolts through the joint.
Cad files included.
