Lens Cap for Convoy L6 Flashlight
Print Profile(1)

Description
I use these modified Convoy L6 flashlights to hunt for fluorescent sodalite ( the Y word) and other UV reactive minerals. The lights themselves are practically indestructible, but I'm not comfortable throwing them into a bag full of rocks due to the risk of damage to the very large filtered glass lens. I looked for a model for a lens cap and couldn't find one, so I whipped one up in Fusion real quick.
I printed it in TPU using the generic TPU settings, and it printed perfectly.
I know what kind of abuse I'm going to subject this to, so I went with 4 walls, 5 top layers, 5 bottom layers, and 15% gyroid infill, and I think it's going to be perfect for my application. It took about 90 minutes to print.
Feel free to tweak it as you see fit, try printing it in different materials, whatev… just don't sell them please.
This is the first model I've ever uploaded, so if it's cool, let me know. If it sucks, let me know that, too!
Thanks!
