Roof Vent Camper Motorhome Hymer B680

In our RV, we have this coarse-mesh roof vent for forced ventilation. A lot of dirt and insects always came through the mesh. Additionally, the bathroom was always cold in winter because too much outside air constantly entered while driving. !!!At your own risk!!!

I have rebuilt the original fan and added an insert where either a fine insect screen in summer or a closed plate in winter can be inserted. Furthermore, the grille can be quickly removed for cleaning.

For installation, the original part can simply be pulled out downwards and the new part pushed in. (External dimensions of the original part are 134.4x134.4mm)

Please check before printing that the supports for the replacement part are only on the build plate and not on the object, as otherwise they are very difficult to remove. The print is deliberately rotated this way, which uses a bit more support material, but ensures a nice surface is visible from below, rather than the one with the support structure.

Additionally, I later reduced the height of both inserts to 2.7mm in the slicer; please check this to ensure a clean insertion.
