Description
Clash(Japanese: Kurasshu; English: Clash) is a Stand that appears in Hirohiko Araki's manga 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and its derivative works.
Its main body is gray, appearing as an armored shark. Besides the eyes on both sides of its head, it also has a large eye in the middle of its forehead. However, its actual prototype is an armored fish.
Squalo's name and Clash's design inspiration may come from the movie 'Jaws', which is also Araki's second favorite horror movie.
The Stand's name is taken from the British punk band "The Clash".
Araki stated that he wanted to design a Stand that could teleport between substances, and since the setting happened to be Venice, water was chosen as the medium. He initially thought "it would be interesting if a shark appeared in a puddle".
